Garden Route environmentalists welcome new bill
“Management has been fragmented in the past and it will mean that things can be done in a more integrated way. The bill makes provision for joint working committees, which we did not have in the past and as a result things slipped through the cracks”
ENVIRONMENTAL groups along the Garden Route have welcomed the Integrated Coastal Management Bill discussed in the national assembly by Environment Minister Marthinus van Schalkwyk last week. via The Herald
