Commentary: Propaganda narrative of economic development: The enduring Vincentian crisis of deception

By D. Markie Spring St Vincent and the Grenadines' downward spiral is frighteningly steep! Every government prates about its various grandiose infrastructural plans that will be the envy of the other political party and the reform of the country's status quo for years to come, but in reality these are fake and empty promises, and fanciful projects that rarely get off the ground. The author of a number of published works, D. Markie Spring was born in St Vincent and the Grenadines and now resides in Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Commentary: For far too many, ALS Bucket Challenge just another 'selfie' stunt

Invisible Children's entire campaign smacks of little more than a feel-good PR stunt . In fact, I would wager a fair amount of my pride that if you were to ask Rihanna and any of her followers a week from today who Joseph Kony is, they would react as if you asked what the Higgs Boson is.
