First gas from Turkmenistan block 1 set for Q3 2010: Petronas CEO

Petronas expects to begin commercial production of natural gas from its block 1 in the Turkmen section of the Caspian Sea in the third quarter of 2010, the president and CEO of the Malaysian national oil and gas company, Hassan Marican, said Monday.

For sure that's a big dream of Hassan Marican as there are delays in construction of MCRA Platform and OGT Site. Third quarter of 2011 may be the earliest date for commercial production.
