The PAP have made a messed of things. Despite their million dollar salaries they have proven to be incompetent.

60 per cent of the people residing in Singapore are now foreigners. The citizens have lost their jobs.

The party is now divorced from reality.

Just like in Japan, the people will vote for the opposition. Change is coming to Singapore and foreign companies who exploit the people will have to leave.

To all freedom loving people of the world, please spend a minute to post a note of encouragement to the long suffering people of Singapore, that they have the courage and the conviction to vote for a more democratic society and an end to tyranny and injustice.

Peace.

And Thank you.

To the people of Singapore, there is only one course of action for you. Vote for Change. Follow the example of the wonderful Japanese people who voted the LDP out after 50 years in power.

These schemes are designed to support and enhance a political infrastructure where power is concentrated in a select few. If all this seems like social engineering at work, that’s because it is. Mr. Lee has never been shy about his intentions to rear future generations of elites.

Singapore is a place for the elites. The poor have no place here. It is time there was change.

I hope I have the chance to vote in the coming elections. Every GE is crucial to the PAP, but when we the people of Sinkapoor do not have a chance to participate, what say do we have? Zilch!

Singaporeans are very unhappy with the present incompetent leaders. Just as in Japan, the opposition will sweep into power. Singaporeans will be free from injustice, tyranny and slavery.

I hope to have a say when the next elections come. But I think no way will I get to vote as the GRC system we have in place is a BIG problem.

Whatever it is, I want my children to participate in the electorate process eventhough I do not get the chance to vote. And to remove this GRC thing in the years to come!

Why change the system that works? We have peace and prosperity with an action oriented Government.

Don't change because others are changing. Haven't heard of - "The blind leading the blind?"

People change because the Government is corrupted and when a Government is corrupted, the people suffers.

Here you have a transparent and clean Government who is implementing good sound policies for the people. so why change?

From my observation, The PAP should allow more space for open opinion and people friendly. Have more compassion for the poor in the form of discount or abolish some fees for the poor to feel that there is a caring Government.

I personally do not agree with you guys to vote for change because the next Government MIGHT not be better! Why gamble our lively hood more so our envied country of prosperity for the sake of change! Do not follow other country's' footsteps because we just couldn't afford to 'kia su'.

Changing for the better is good but my worries are what if it is worse than the present? Think wisely before you cast that precious votes of yours as you can't afford to make the greatest blunder of your life's....!!!

Don't make me laugh. Singaporeans have become poorer under the present ruling party while they take home millions and millions of dollars a year.

Employers are hiring cheap foreign labour and discriminating against Singaporeans.

Thousands and thousands of Singaporeans are not jobless and those that have jobs are earning a meagre salary which is insufficient for them to support their families.

Singaporeans are going to vote for the opposition in this coming elections.

You have your right to your assessment, and I had mine to differ. To begin with, I have read a lot of envious stories about S'pore PM and cabinet Ministers having the highest pay in the world. That I believe is true but...my take is....1st class work must come with 1st class pay! No corruptions, no big crimes to shout about, peaceful compared to other countries, transparent and a Government who knows how to make and gain money through sound investments. Look at the nation's reserves - not bad compared with bigger economies. Since that being the case, why not? After all the Government is not digging into our reserves. If they are doing it, then even I will object for their unmatched high pay.

Now, allow me to give another example: A close neighbour that has practically everything under the sky - commodities, oil, gas, gold and minerals with PM and cabinet Ministers' salaries that equals executives or engineers earning in Singapore. Then again you will certainly compare this with costs of living between there and here.
My answers plain and simple. Lesser Pay packets but greater unseen corruptions that when compared with little Singapore, which I am ashamed to utter.

You say Singapore Government is very restrictive with high costs of living, a lot of poor people and unemployed topping the unending lists of discontentment. I should advise that the present generation knows no hardships, therefore, I should provide an analogy to illrustrate my point. When one is rich, you will not know what it is to be poor! When your country is peaceful, you will not know what is war or racial discrimination and unfair competitions.

To change a Government is easy, but before you do think of the pros and cons before committing your votes. Another analogy also happens at your door step, what happens when a number of states were lost to the opposition, corruptions, misuse of government funds that should be spent on the states concerned. Fictitious receipts, over-billings of work done and the lists is long, I assure you.

To Singapore voters, ask yourselves what are your grievances compared to the above? Don't change for the sake of changing is my last advise!
