That maybe so, however, we must remember that the European Nations "owned" the Caribbean. When one owns something it is yours to do whatever is considered desirable. However, this does not exclude the reality, hence my conviction that the EU nations owe it to the Caribbean to assist with developmental strategies, not just in grants and loans but donating a percentage of profits realised to be used for projects such at education and climate change adaptation and mitigation.
