Corruption by sexual abuse, a sure fire favourite with little people who have their first taste of power. Great to see them get their come-uppances. This is the sort of lustracia that works, when it is carried out by the courts in real time, and not years after the event. It'd be funny if one of the Kaczynskis was caught out!

Dear Healing time

I do not understand why everyone hates the kaczynskis so much. Take a good look at some of the things Tusk and his commie friends are doing.

http://www.tvn24.pl/-1,1550422,wiadomosc.html

Attacking journalists and destroying their cameras and footage.

http://www.tvn24.pl/12690,1550347,0,1,wiadomo...

Emplying former communist by making them one of the top people in a criminal investigation.

When Tusk got elected he promised many miracles and yet he has delivered nothing. So far the only thing you hear is PIS that and PIS this without any concrete proof while Tusk does nothing but take vacations. Why isn't anyone picking on Tusk?

Peter,

Tusk is not a great candidate to be pickedon because he doesn't behave like a "maly Polaczek". He does his job by allowing departments to function freely, rather than trying to micro-managing and control the uncontrollable. Most of all he has opened up dialogue with Russia and the EU so much so that even baby Kaczynski was apologising to Angie Merkel for his previous bad boy behaviour. And the fact that he has taken a vacation to Peru is to be commended. It's a heathy example to us all.

We'll see what the motives were for the security services ABW taking away a journalists camera during an investigation. They have a job to do which is secretive by nature ....

As for employing "ex-Commies", the fact of the matter is that until the generation who worked under the old PRL has finally retired, there will always be professional use of those you curely call "commies". The days of witch hunts are over.

I don't have detailed knowledge of either case. However, I stand against blanket accusations of wrong doing simply because there is an element of security or ex-communism involved.

In gov'ts especially former soviet gov'ts like eastern germany anyone suspected with ties to the stasi or the communist party was kicked out after the fall of berlin wall. The Germans cleaned up their house. Now look at poland. Almost 20 years since the fall of communism and you have these guys that were putting solidarity movement activists behind bars holding nice paying jobs today. Do you think this is ok? If what this opportunist/criminal was doing today is okay he has to answer to those people he put in prison.
