MANILA: Philippines' Arroyo urged to run as vice-president

If she run I'm pretty sure she's going to win, Not because the people going to vote for her its because she's going to CHEAT just like she did during 2004. Presidential election, Except this time its gonna be easy as 1,2,3. All they have to do is program the computer machine to do their CHEATING OPERATION.

I HAD ENOUGH WITH THIS BITCH! THROW HER ASS IN JAIL WHERE SHE BELONG ALONE WITH HER CORRUPT CRONIES!

Why don't she just declare martial law so she can hang on to power indefinitely! It's one way to prevent the next administration (if there is ever going to be one) from going after the Arroyo family's record of corruption and ill-gotten wealth.

But, then again, Filipinos will probably just say ' that's life, we can't do anything about it'. They've got so much patience-to a fault, and they'll endure all hardships with a smile on their faces,they're numb to the evil of corruption.Corruption is deeply routed to the smallest unit of the government. Thus, the governments, past and present, have been able to get away with all their graft and corrupt practices because of the common man's complacency and 'come what may' attitude. The politicians and those members of Congress and the Senate does not really care as long as they can line their pockets with money, the pork barrel, from the labor of the ordinary Filipino. What a shame for such hard-working, lively bunch of people. They've been victimized by the very same politicians they were hoping to lift them out of their misery.

What the country needs is a God-fearing person, who is not afraid to risk his own life for the sake of his countrymen,who will dedicate his entire term of office to improved the lot of the ordinary citizen and not be concerned of lining his pockets with money. That is the real public servant. Anybody qualified? I doubt it,if there are these kind of person nobody wants to support them because of the rich's vested insterests.

So it's just a vicious circle all over again. When will it end?

Yes, Indeed. This is one of the reason why the Philippines never get out from under because of corrupt government officials! If she run I'm pretty sure she's going to win because she's going to CHEAT. To ensure she win so that she can stay into her stolen power forever. God forbid!

Enough is enough! Give some other chance to serve the country which may turn to be better and clean in many ways like education, improve poverty, no corruptions, less crime and etc., not perfect but decent, honest, and unpretentious.

Sana maging ok rin ang standard of education, safety ng enviroment at marami pang iba. Sana maging totoo talaga ang maging result ng incoming election this 2010. At sana maging matalino ang ating kababayan sa pagpili, hwag ipagbili ang inyong mga boto, dahil babawiin din nila ang kanilang nagastos pag sila ang nakalukluk sa posisyon. Maging maingat talaga sa ganitong sitwasyon, at bantayan sana nyo ang mga boto nyo, dahil para sa bayan ito at ang mamayang Pilipino ang siyang manginginabang nito. Unless we, as a people, moderate greed (and moderate is an inappropriate word here), our nation shall be forever festered by insurgencies. We must stop insurgents by eliminating their most effective recruitment tools of poverty and injustice.

Whos going to stop her? You? Nobody can stop her because she control the entire corrupt justice system. Cannot you see what happen to all impeachment case's against her. It went down the drain because she have people she can count on to protect her for all her sins. If she want to run let her run! If she wins thats means she CHEATED just like she did during in 2004. Presidential election. Let the people decide what to do with her when that happen. About 75% of filipino people want her out from her stolen power but she wants to run again because there is plenty of money to be make while squatting in Malacanyang palace.

Arroyo on Senate report: Gossip mixed with facts

MANILA, Philippines — President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo Thursday bristled at “unsubstantiated allegations” about her role in the $329-million National Broadband Network (NBN) scandal that has dogged her administration since 2007.

Ms Arroyo disputed a Senate committee report’s finding that she failed to immediately investigate an attempt to bribe then Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Romulo Neri with P200 million into endorsing the NBN deal with the Chinese ZTE Corp. in April 2007.
Addressing the report at a conference of broadcasters, Ms Arroyo said she had directed Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita and Interior Secretary Ronaldo Puno to conduct a “discreet” investigation of the bribery attempt, but the findings were “inconclusive.”

Gossip thats according to Gloria Arroyo! But why is it she's doing anything to stop the investigation if this is only gossip? why is it she's suppress the truth if she don't have anything to hide.
