couldnt they work with the children and families in our own local towns that need help? there are many. why do so many churches send help out of our own needing country. whats wrong with helping our own people. its so horrible to know our own children dont have winter coats or well fitting shoes. what about blankets to keep them warm?

i donate to our local food bank. i donate my used clothes to the church that has a lending closet for women in need. i try. but i dont travel to far off places when the need is right here.

they were not only assissting people but also doing religious proselitism..this way there main objective..maybe no one listens to them back home..but I agree they should first help people in their hometown..

most churches and those who participate in missions of mercy as Jesus commanded are also interested in the local community-- have you ever heard of the chambersburg project??? check it out.

and by the way- if you had good news , like that of salvation, you would want to tell others about it

but i guess you have nothing to be excited about except grousin and complaining about those who do good
