Hi 007sabry, i would like to use this oppertunity to get my view accross on this incident,as a modern takiya person i am condeming all kind of vialent in anyform.i think our takiya community have done huge mistake by killing 2 innocent life.takiya people have done a taliban style of killing two innocent life and blaming others as Extremist this is not right.i am sure buhari sheh havent order this killing.. how ever he should come out and say sorry to the victims to solve this matter hear on.
Mean time this insident is a wakeup call for our sheh to see that takiya people are moving away from islamic principles and he have to spend some time to correct them.

Muslim community should pay their attention to the beruwala incident. There are young boys &girls among thakkiya group. They are future leaders. but no any motivation for studies. As muslim we should help them to remove the swords from their hands and make them to take the holly Quran.

Australia doesn't give citizenships for Muslims preaching these sort of things!

Only Imams that are exiled for being hard lined from Muslims countries can say that there lives are in danger, and get citizenship.

Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhab is also deemed with the EXACT SAME title, "ash-Shaykh an-Najdi," by the Ahl as-Sunnah 'Ummah. Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahhab was raised in the wastelands of Najd in central Arabia, and had very little access to mainstream Muslim scholarship. His Islamic "knowledge", as well as "aqeeda," was derived from the Mu'tazila and Khawarij sect, while he claimed to be a Hanbali in Fiqh, but his thinking, ideology, and belief was such that only he alone was Muslim, and everyone else was a mushrik (polytheist). In his writings, he specifically titled ALL of the Ahlus-Sunnah as being polytheists (mushrik). Under this guise, he said (and all Wahhabi's/Najdi's/Salafi's still BELIEVE) that the killing of the Ahlus-Sunnah was permissible.

We have no argument with regard to Islam. Islam is the complete way of life blessed by Almighty Allah & His Rasool (sal).

Our Argument is that Holy Prophet (sal) predicted that a Great Shaithan will rise from East of Medina pointing towards Najd. Wahabi Salfees & Tawheeds say Najd is in Iraq and we say it is in Arabia.

The Wahabis tried their level best to change the word NAJD with the word Iraq (They succeeded in all the Haddees books printed in Saudi, Kuwait and other Wahabi countries & distributed freely to all pilgrims & exported to all Salafee Jamath countries, They also provided this information to Wikipedia) but they were too late; This NAJD Hadees is well spread and everywhere else it is called as Najd and not Iraq. Najd means a high land/platue and Iraq is not a high land (unless you consider north of Iraq) as per geographic data. Also Iraq is not East of Medina as the Wahabis try to portray. I'm amazed that these Wahabi Salafees refuse to use a Map or any geografic data to prove their argument!

I have proven with a Atlas map that NAJD is in Arabia (present day Riyadh) and it is a Straight line to East of Medina as per Holy Prophet's (sal) saying.

However Wahabis are not prepared to use any maps or scientific geograpgic data as they're scared that they will get caught with their pants down. Accepting this fact will mean the end of Wahabi Salafee jamath as they're cursed sect.

They're now sticking to their fabricated Wahabi printed data and Wahabi websites. which we dont not take as authentic facts.

This is the plan that the British occupiers implemented against Islam.

Saheehul bukhari Hadees collection is read at the Bukhari Thakkiya at Beruwala and then translated in Tamil to the mureeds/Students & other Muslims who attend these lessens; I myself had attended a few lessons and I can very well assure you that this is a highly deciplined Madrasa and I saw no one either worshiping any Saints or anyone worshipping the Sheikh who is the head of the madrasa (like a Principal of a college) as the Tawheeds claim"unjustly".
All I saw here was the Bukhari Hadees read in Arabic by a person then translated to Tamil and read-out to those who are listening. I was served coffee along with other visitors & students; then at the end of the lesson (for that day) we were served Breakfast. I was very hungry by the time they finshed and I was very grateful when they served me food. Do you think this is wrong as the wahabis/Tawheeds claim?
I dont see anything fishy here. I truly think that these critics should visit this madrasa and see for themselves to have a better understanding of what truly happens here at Bukhari Thakkiya. Maybe they have misunderstood Bukhari Thakkiya with some place they might have seen in India where some Muslims with poor knowledge of Islam; over-do their part when they visit a zeyarath of a saint. Instead of calling these Muslims as Kafirs & Blaming them; The Muslims who have sound knowledge of ISLAM should guide them on the correct path while listening to their doubts and clearing any issues that they might have; not by killing them, burning their houses, chasing them from their villages and killing Ulamas who dont agree with Tawheeds; like it was done in Kattankudy by followers of Wahabism/Salafism & Tawheedsm.
The Bukhari Madrasa/Thakkiya holds a feast "Kandoory" in celebration of the Prophet's Way of Life; The reason This Madrasa is called "Bukhari Thakkiya" is because it is a school where the subject is the study of "prophets way of life" as recorded in the saheehul bukhari Hadees. When something good is done in keeping with Islamic values; it becomes a sunnahthul Hasana; A Good Innovation for the benefit of people.
It is true that the incident at Beruwala where two people died is very regretable indeed. It was a sorry situation; The people got very immotional when this Tawheed preacher provoked them by calleing Muslims as "Kafirs" - who dont believe as Wahabis do- and calling the Qurban given at the Bukhari Thakkiya as "Haram" as eating pork, then he started to talk bad things about the Sheikh of the Bukhari Madrasa & Kandoory (feast).
The Students who heard this; lodged an entry at the police and the Tawheed Mosque promised to send the Preacher 'Kovai Ayoon'(an indian) to Police within two hours; When he didn't turn-up evan past Midnight the Students of the Thakkya went to the tawheed Mosque and these Tawheeds instead of apologising; had challenged the studets of Bukhari thakkiya to do anything they like in a very rude way.(Although it was past 12.30AM there were more than 80-100 people inside the Tawheed mosque preparing to attack the students with Swords, Sticks,Axes and I heard even Petrol bombs).
The students were less than 20 at this late hour so thay had called/phoned other students/Mureeds who were on the way to Galle after the feast at Beruwala and met-up/joined with them and had gone again to Tawheed mosque to demand the preacher to surrender to police. The Tawheeds had once again started their insults and calling these students as Kafirs/Munafiqs and insulted the Sheikh of Thakkiya in filthy Language; Then a "big made" Tawheed radical had swang the sword at a student as to attack him; this blew the fuse and the trouble started which ended with the killings & injuries.

Beruwala Bukhary Thakiya: Do they do Shirk? Let us Analyze whether there is any truth in these Wahabi Claims:



Question: Do the Muslims Belonging to the Kadiriya Thareekath of The Buhari Mosque at Beruwala worship the Sheikh or make sujood/bow to him?

Answer: NO, we have never ever worshiped anyone besides Almighty Allah; we respect the Sheikh and accept him as guide/teacher, a Leader of the community and as a head of an intuition. Just like a good student who will respect his school principal and be loyal to the college he or she studied. There maybe a lot of colleges (Tarikats) but the syllabus will remain the same; i.e: Worship none but Allah Almighty!

Question: What is the function of the Sheikh?

Answer: The Sheikh has many functions and responsibilities: The Main functions are briefly described as:



(1) The Head of the Buhari Thakkiya/intuition – Principal of the college



(2) Being an example of How a good Muslim should live and practice Islam



(3) To guide the mureeds/Students in the way of the prophet; The Quran & Sunnah are followed to the letter by the mureeds/Students in practice.



(4) To do his best to bring about a refined, well mannered and highly disciplined society of Muslims of the Tareekath (just like any good principal who would want his students to shine) which brings about a society of mutually respecting conflict-free individuals.



(5) To show leadership in welfare of the community: Eg: Helping to wed poor Muslims, Look after the desperate who come to him for help, helping the homeless during disasters (i.e-Tsunami)



Question: What is this Buhari Madrasa/Takkiya in Beruwala? What is its purpose?

Answer:The Buhari Madrasa at Beruwala is a School where the whole volume of Sahih Buhari is read in Arabic and translated into Tamil to the Mureeds/Students. That is why it is called Buhari Thakkiya/Madrasa. The Students/Mureeds of Buhari Takkiya is of the most disciplined and well mannered of all Muslim communities of Sri Lanka – You can see for yourself if you attend one of the lessens during the recital period/season.

Question: Why do they have a feast every year?“Kandoory” isn’t it a waste of public money?

Answer:At the End of the recital of the complete volume of the Sahih Buhari; “Thammam”, A feast is held where Muslims from all over Sri Lanka and even from foreign countries visit to obtain the blessings of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh)“Sunnah” which is recorded in the Sahih Buhari; It being the largest collection. It is also a great opportunity for Relatives & friends to meet-up and have a get together. The money spent for this is through PRIVATE funding of the mureeds/Students & Well wishers who want to have this feast in celebration of Prophet’s sunnah “thammam” i.e:“Sahih Buhari”– It is to be noted here that NO ONE IS FORCED TO DO ANY THING HERE– FREE WILL PREVAILS – No COMPULSION!

Question: Why do they slaughter so many goats & chickens? Who buys them?

Answer:The Goat’s and Chickens are gifted to the mosque during the feast by mureeds/students & well wishers to be slaughtered and given to the visitors who come to the mosque during the festive period. It is a complete FREE meal for everyone who attends. If you don’t have them many people who come to the feast will go hungry. This is the 130th year feast and everyone who attended the feast is a Muslim and they’re fed to their stomachs fill which is also a blessing of Allah.
