U.S. still hopes for Israeli-Palestinian deal by end-2008

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said on Friday there was still time for Israelis and Palestinians to reach a peace deal by the end of 2008.

The workable deal is that so-called Palestinians settle east of the river, in the Palestinian Mandated Jordan, as was the 1948 objective.

So called is correct; Golda Meir once said there was no such thing as a Palestinian, i.e., the late PLO Chaiman Yassar Arafat, whose given sir name was al Husseni, and who was born in Cairo, Egypt of an Egyptian father.
