My condolences to the family for this horrible loss. Bashers should receive the maximum penalty- it is the only way to stem the street violence.

What, no sympathy from anyone else for this poor irish kid who died after an assault?

"I don't want my son's attacker to go to jail". It takes a strong person to say that. I'm sick of all the street violence and I'm sick of all the violence caused be Alcohol. People who do these types of crimes need to be punished.

The criminal who killed that kid was white as is evident in the police description published in the article. It's funny how you keep dragging non-whites into your vicious, hateful rants even with regard to matters that involve white on white violence. But then again I suppose that as far you're concerned, everything terrible which occurs in Australia is somehow darkie's fault,eh?

The street violence is caused by alcohol and by ethnic gangs. The irish kid was bashed by a white bloke. Whether he was eurotrash like those in the Brimble case is not known yet.
There should be minimum sentences of at least 15 years for those who commit assaults which lead to dead or severe injury. This includes glassing, another repulsive crime.

I dont know the full storie, but i agree that the media and goverment should take some blame. There is so much violence on tv, that people seem to think a king hit wont hurt. You only have to see people punching each other without even giving each other a cut lip on tv. I tell you why if blood is shown it needs to go to a later showing, but a king hit with no harm done can be shown on neighbours.

I admire Mrs Walsh's courage and forgiving attitude towards her son's attacker.(Condolences to the Walsh family for this tragic loss).

However, just let Law Enforcement and the Adjudicative system do its job.
The culprit has to be held accountable for his actions. Justice takes precedence and must be served.

No it is the racist whites that dont make ethnics in Australia feel welcome.You obviously dont go out and see the violence,you look past it lol.Alcohol,drugs and mixing them are the cause of most of the problems in society.
