Why should judges be exempt from RTI, are they from Mars? All of us ordinary citizens are chootiyas, while VIP's are exempt from everything including RTI.

dear eh,
RTI has been hailed as an progressive legislation but in my opinion it still remains a paradise for few. RTI has not reached the deserving targeted people. even after years of implementaion , it mostly remains in the hands of the self serving politicians who use them against their opponents, elite so called social workers who just want to remain as centre of attrection. please dont misunderstand me . i am not against RTI per se as it can be a magic wand. what is my concern is that we have not been taken it to the majority of ordinary people who need it most. it should not be the act to be used for personal gain of a particular person or a group of persons. |
