I think most of indian ancestry doctors.., must have been born in USA and are very much americanized. They re not pure breed slumdogs anymore. By the way all these doctors are working in USA not in SLUMDOG COUNTRY!!

As far as I'm concerned, most immigrants in the USA are expected to assimilate and adapt to the host culture.
USA has an assimilation policy, unlike countries like india which is very divided across caste, race, religious lines.
Many of america's immigrants have assimilated into mainstream US culture by the second generation at least. therefore many indians prefer to call themselves American first, not SLUMDOGs.
Many of the second-generation indians (not slumdogs anymore) only if they assimilate.., work and contribute to the US economy and not for the economy of SLUMLAND.

There are many other people from different nationalities and backgrounds became rich and successful in the USA, not only indians.
Thats bcos USA is an open free market economy and they value hard work, new ideas, free speech, freedom of religion, freedom of taught, no chains of caste system, all men are equal, no red-tape bereaucracy like corrupted b@stads netaji and babuji.
If americans practiced caste system, do u think Americans will give residency to black-skinned slumdogs...? or to any other races.
