Indians, I don't mean to put salt on your old wounds. The fact is India has been under British rule. For any country which has been colonized by the Europeans should respect history and be sympathetic with other victims of colonization.

Unfortunately, some Indians like Monk, Son of Globe and quite a few on this website are so arrogant and look down upon other developing countries, and other former colonies. This type of Indians tend to think they are more superior than others because of their British connection and the adoption of the mechanistic process of election by their home country from the British following the latter's departure.

India and other developing countries are facing similar problems which are not unique to China or the Middle East, or the African countries. But India thinks it is superior, and tend to belittle people from these less developed countries as if India is perfect and very advanced. Of course, they try to cover up their own problems and join the bandwagon of the smearing campaigns initiated by racists in advanced countries (quite a few from Canada and the US in Topix).

A few Vietnamese guys(like TCM Tuong) have the same mentality.

The term "white master" is used by Son of Globe originally to insult me in response to my chalenging questions. It is funny. I have advised Son of Globe to buy a cheap mirror from Walmart and look at his own face.

What a racist? And what a blunder for him to say it to a Canadian.(And sorry I don't have to compare with Son of Globe in terms of my complexion (see who has lighter complexion, and it makes no sense to any normal persons living in multicultural Canada).)

another Indian friend I had made 11 to 14 million using fake stock certificates

yet another Indian friend, made millions selling real estate to his friends and family at inflated prices...

Indians are nice people... but I would never do business with them

I believe there are good and bad guys in all countries. I know some good Indians here, but of course you probably are right. I also saw bad ones.

The ones you are communicating with are a bunch of not very good ones who are mean and racist. They have double standards in every topic basically. They talked as if India and they themselves are perfect, and other countries like China are very bad. Definitely, I believe India is a lot worse than Canada. But I don't believe that we have the right to criticise other countries assuming we are perfect all the time.

I ask them about India's annexation of Sikkim. They all shut up and disappeared. I think they know their hands are dirty, and so they evaded my question.

These are the type of people I won't do business with.

No, most of those I met in my country are reasonable, especially those who worked with me 3 ot 4 years ago. But the ones I met on this website are terrible.

But of course, there are some not very good ones in reality. I try to avoid them.

That is your choice. But your assumption that a cheat would cheat less from his ethnic people and more outside is really dumb.
They are simply opportunists.

Unlike the reception for Obama, who's a really cool president with a half-brother living in China, Stephen Harper is an anti-China nut who's pressured to visit China due to political and business concerns back home.

Expect just a luke-warm reception in China at best.

Harper humuliated himself this time. He was so harsh towards China in the beginning, but he is pressured by the business community to visit China. That is much like what the Aussies and New Zealanders have gotten themselves into.

When Jean Chretien criticised his China policy, he defended himself and brushed aside all criticism. Finally, he could not stand the heat from businessmen, and became so eager to pay China a visit. But he is just a politician.

It's as the expression goes: "It's the Economy, Stupid." That applies to Harper.

You are wrong, that is the business credo. Harper wants to convert China to his god.

In a rational intellectual globe we need not god to lead but a leder who serve the people and thereby goes into the book of history.
He can speak perfect Chinese language and his mother-tongue which is also popular in India.
I hope he get some inspiration from these countries to understand the word"Leader"

All the best and a happy trip Harper

Christianity has been in China for 1700 years, yet Christians are still just 1.5 % of China's population today. A snail's pace?

Harper will be in China from Dec. 2-6. I think Chinese TV news will give him a 5 seconds slot and that's the last one will hear of him in China's media. That's how much media coverage given to the Prime Minister of Cambodia when visiting China.

Harper doesn't care about 1700 years of history...he is a messiah.

Once he arrives China will repent.
