The A-380...as a pilot ,when I see and hear this remarkable machine of flight,it brings a tear to my eye...its Beautiful lines, that something made by man ,so huge, and complex can be lifted up into the sky by a man.The Concord also, and even to a greater degree had that effect on me,this Pterodactyl type work of art streaking across time and space.

......yet,I am always reminded of that other great accomplishment of man in mass transportation...The Titinic...Emotions were high, expiations great,as she sailed into history, she made a majestic picture, and moved the world as to that accomplishment ,again by man/

As with the tragic demise of the Titanic,a like tragedy with a plane with the people capacity of the A-380,is mined boggling!

When the now venerable 747 made its appearance some years ago,the same emotions filled me then..However..Recognizing "Murphy's Law"..if something can go wrong,it will.
I waited long until I got on that 747...
I know ,I will now do the same if ever I had an opportunity to board a A-380.

Al tho at any given time the Sky's are filled with planes, transporting millions, there always is that chance, that ,Man,weather, the very plane it self,as more often than not,do and have fatal consequences!

Yet ..how can we not board them..this miracle of flight, by man.

Give the guy a break. It's hard to organize your thoughts while pecking at that little laptop keyboard in an airline cockpit.

LOL. Late arrivers are easy to refute. Now lets think! USA! WW1! arrived "very" late and had ,lets be genourous one year in the field. Lost hardly any men compared to the french/British empire.

Onto WW11. Arrived 3 years late, to busy supporting the Nazi and making profits. Then! Thank you Japon you finally got these grasping gready cowards (USA) off the fence. Face the real facts you WON f-ckall. You assisted after joining the winning side.

Well, we all know Captain Asshole's aversion to Airbus, don't we?

This thread is a bit of DEJA VU, just another excuse for stupid Americans to knock France, right?

I believe it's the Romans who said about barbarians "What they don't understand, they seek to destroy".
Nothing has never been more applicable to Americans!!
