AMerica has become a society which believes that we should not be punished for anything we do wrong. Somehow other people in other countries are lesser people than us. Be it the hikers that wandered into Iran recently, or these journalists. People then say what about compassion or mercy? What about it? The US does not always demonstrate mercy or compassion with its global neighbors. Until we get over our perceived greatness we will be in a lot of trouble down the road. Obama can only do so much to make the world better, we need to be nicer to each other.
