Fiji could do for the comrades in high place as the latest, unofficial, destination of high finance and general naughtiness very nicely indeed, replacing that of Macau, which just has the inconvenience of sitting on the doorsteps to the People's Republic.

The serious message going out now from the Central Committee is one of cleanliness for its members at least not being caught out in all the negative publicity. No consorting with prostitutes for starters and similarly the customary R&R enclave on the Pearl River Delta has to be rehabiltated too into normalcy.

Fiji on the other hand is currently experimenting with more non-PC liberalism in the movements of humans and capital, and throw in the odd beaches and obliging natives, would make for great replacement for purpose of dirty weekends for the great and the good of an affluent China.

Why torment and agonise yourself living in China Hong Kong since you are so unhappy with your daily complaints??? Count your blessings that you have a safe country to live in while > 6000 illegals from the west trying to find jobs and to settle in this paradise. Just be aware that a parasite is useless to the host and will be toss out in time! There will be others to take over your place if the complaints go unchecked.
