I love this quote by your Correa. "Somebody may say: Iran, Axis of Evil. But what do I care what other countries think? We have to be masters of our own destiny. We have nothing against Iran. Iran has done nothing to us," Correa said.

I hope he loves the brand of Islamo-Terrorism it brings with it. Ecuador, do you really think the Iranians are interested in Infidels and your love of life, dancing and partying? AND the Chinese with their strong stand on Human Rights? And Chavez is one of your best allies?

Well Ecuador, somehow Correa got elected. Your country is heading for real disaster. Buenos suertes. But feel free to call the U.S. when you need help. We'll be waiting. Es verdad.

Unfortunately, Correa has blind sighted his own people. Even the new constitution by his own people will give Correa more powers without any judicial or congressional over sight. Ecuador will not longer be a Republic!
Sad in my opinion!

amigo latino_gringo, i agree with you completely. i have some good friends in ecuador, some rich and some poor but they all feel the same way. their world is going to change and i am afraid that they will suffer. it is very very sad because the people and ecuador itself deserve better. but things can sometimes change and i pray they will change sooner rather than later.
su amigo en florida. es verdad.
