The trip might be cheap,but be careful,its dangerous down there.

Belize City, Belize

As a Belizean I can confidently say that dangerous is a matter of where you choose to stay and how careful you are with yourself. Certain neighbourhoods of Belize City aside, the cayes are relatively low in crime and most permanent residents (Belizean and expats) will agree to this. Tourists therefore needn't stress over safety when on these islands.
