What is stzted on the Attorney General's website about the Mirans is "that these are merely allegations, and they are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty".
Mr. Miran, or should I say Professor Miran, as he taught a class I took at Rochester Institute of Technology and that is how I refered to him, is in all honesty a very good, caring person who puts people before money. His grandchildren are the love of his life, and unlike many RIT Professors, he isn't telling the students things like "the golden rule is those with the gold make the rules" (Daniel Tessoni, Philip E. Saunders College of Business).
Beyond the fact that he tells his students that doing the right thing by others is more important that how much you make, he is also involved in other good works. I feel that people who are finding this situation something of an amusement should stop and wait before gloating. For all we know, some of these "unathorized" personnel who were giving therapy sessions where RIT Psychology Majors looking for a little practical work experience, and Professor Miran was just giving these individuals a taste of what their future would hold if they chose to work with schizophrenics.

If you read the charges you would know they were filed on him and his wife not students. And it is always about the money.I hope for you,you didn't waste all of that money to be so blind to the facts. To some people money is God,and that is what the Miran's were thinking.Scramers.

And there are those who are even more naive and don't realize that just telling the wrong person to KMA can bring about falsified documentation from those in power who would try to beat a person down with any lie they can come up with. Done that, been there myself more than once.
It must be that you truly believe money is everything. What a sad existance you must have. You have my utmost sympathy for your narrow view of this world.

The guy's nuts.
Grab 'em!!
Sorry, my court finds these two nitwits guilty as charged.
No doubt these criminals have their "nice" side.
So did Charles Manson and Jack the Ripper.
Being a naive moron is no way to go through life.
