Dooney & Bourke Founder Gets One Year in Prison in Azerbaijan Bribery Case

Frederic Bourke , the co-founder of handbag maker Dooney & Bourke , was sentenced to a year and a day in prison and a $1 million fine for conspiring to pay bribes to leaders in Azerbaijan in what U.S. prosecutors called one of the most corrupt investment schemes in the former Soviet Union.
