Africa has the highest crime rate, black Americans are the majority in jail for crimes, same as Brazil.

I don't deny crime exist in Africa but it was far lower before.Now there is so many Brazilian in Angola.They are not all businessmen.You have also Nigerians and Mozambicans who also cause trouble in south Africa.

Angolan have too much hope with their economy to become criminals.But I a agree with you that Chinese in Angola could become easy target, especially in rural part of Angola.

By the way, many white Portuguese also were killed recently.I think there is hope and this situation can be reverse with Chinese could force their government to pressure on Dos santos. So Angola invest more on security, educate more the poor Angola about the benefice to have Chinese.

And to inform you, I'm black, not a criminal.I love the Chinese presence in Africa because its boost the continent.Africa is vast and there is place for a good share of the 1.3 billion Chinese there.

Its all about education.Angola government should do a massive education project and the Chinese should also learn Portuguese and learn to understand Angolan African tradition so they survive among them.not just stay away like perfect target,

Now the Angolan government did it effort to recuperate a good portion of the weapons thank to united nations help. They still have a long way to go.They need also to educate the very young population without jobs about Chinese.

The Chinese themselves should try to understand the African.why not organize soccer competition, drink a beer together.Chinese should give free lesson of martial art to poor African orphans, living them with a positive image of the Chinese.

Not the greedy money maker who look at them with suspicion.

I thought we were on the subject of crime rather than war. I merely pointed out that if you wanted an example of native Africans commiting crimes then you need go no further than S.Africa where they seem hellbent on making a nonsense of your statement that native Africans are generally law abiding.

You can't talk about Angola crime without talking about the 40 years old war that ravage generations of Angolans.The Portuguese only left in the 70s or 60s after 600 years of rule in Angola,but surprisingly only 15% of Angolan can remember to have seen of one of them.

Why?All the older generations has died.This is why Angola is among the youngest population in the world.They are building them self from time zero since 2000 when president dos santos decide to rebuild.

Now of course the Portuguese are back but my point is that Angolan is a country made of orphans.When you say orphan, there is no transmission of proper ways to new generation and that lead to crime.

Countries with shorter colonization and no civil war usually have less criminality.Look at Egypt,Libya. The crime rate is very low if you ignore terrorism case that can append every 10 years.

You Chinese if you want to make money in Africa, you should at lease have one friend in every region of that country.Its work like that in every country.In America or Canada they call that a lawyer(bloodsucker).

In Angola you can just hire a jobless Angolan and ask him to let you know what is happening around.Tell him to ask his friend if there is menaces against Chinese.Give him a little good and he will be like a guard.

If you think making business in Africa is hard.Try to do business in Russia.Google "Cherkizovsky Market" and you will see what happend to thousands of Chinese businesses.And this is the government, not they Prussian mafia.

When the women go at work she look hard at every blacks she see, even though she never encounter blacks before,in her country.She also use the N**** word when chatting with a white lady friend, making the poor lady very uncomfortable.

The example of African america is a bad choice.Minorities every where often suffer from an adaptation period because of the long oppression.I see you don't really know the history of the united states.

African american are not the only race in that situation.You find a majority of Maoris in new-Zealand jails.A majority of native Indians in Canadian jails and in the streets.

You find also a majority Mexicans in south west united states jails and statistics predict that they will outnumber African american on total number in just 5 years.
