Full story: WLOX

In Britain, there are no long lines of people seeking swine flu vaccine. Doctor's offices aren't swamped with desperate calls.

OK, I'll bite.

Soooo?????

Here in Michigan, USA doctor office's refusing to test for the swine/H1N1 flu. Schools closing due to lack of teachers and kids (absentee rate). Sending children home (with IV's inserted) due to lack of hospital beds, my own kids fine for 3-4 days then the headache, muscle aches, and fever returns for a day...lost time at work, lost wages, etc.

Glad to hear it's going good there.(not being mean-I'm really glad). Keep it that way. Wash your hands often, use your elbow to sneeze into, and restrict your incoming flights.

People in US spend hours in lines to get the swine flu. The people in Britian wait for at least 2 months after children and pregnant get it. That's a pretty long line, albeit a more orderly one.

Britian doctors are not allowed to give out the vaccines. That's why there is no lines. I can walk in there and they wont give it to me.

Testing for swine flu is useless. Vaccines only prevent the swine flu, not cure it.

Yes, we sure can learn from europeans about healthcare. This articles states that the government KNOWS everyones private business. They KNOW who is diabetic. They KNOW who is pregnant. And if they don't think you QUALIFY for something, YOU WON'T BE INVITED to get the medical care you think you deserve. We aren't quite ready in this country to let our government decide whether or not we qualify for a kleenix to blow our own noses. Some things are best up to the individual and NOT the government. The government should be in the business of running the country and stay OUT of peoples personal lives.

Here in France the vaccine is available free and immediate. Prevention is better than cure.

Daily Horoscope for November 21

Cancer

Strange dreams and desires of a sexual nature may disturb you this morning; rest assured that just because you dreamt it, you're not weird! Everyone dreams off-colour, ribald doozies on occasion, and no one has been locked up for it yet. If you analyse your dreams carefully, you'll find that they're often about things that seem to have nothing to do with the imagery you recall.
