The government of the world's most populous Islamic state says YouTube has two days to take down a Dutch lawmaker's provocative film on the Koran or it will block access to the popular video-sharing Web site.

The warning by Indonesia came as the U.N.'s primary human rights watchdog ended a month-long session amid allegations by Western member-states and non-governmental organizations that Islamic nations are working to curtail free speech.

Putin took his American visitor on a walking tour down to the water. First lady Laura Bush trailed a few steps behind so photographers could focus on the two presidents, striding side by side. Putin's wife, Lyudmila, was nowhere to be seen. Read more

Nike Factory Strike in Vietnam Settled - for $6 a Month

This is why I rant about how unjust globalization truly is. Not only does the incredibly low labor cost - much of which is due to a lack of oversight in factories - mean that not only do jobs go overseas, the people who get the jobs aren't even paid fair wages. So people who say we are "spreading the wealth" globally are either foolish or lying because they work for a corporation making $$$ off of the arrangement.
