County hoping to extend Joe Day loan

NEWPORT County AFC have opened talks with Peterborough United as they aim to keep loan star Joe Day at the club until the end of the year. The goalkeeper has kept two clean sheets in his four appearances for the Exiles - two wins and two draws - since he dislodged regular number one Lenny Pidgeley.
