Valencia continue to impress

Valencia continued their excellent start to life under coach Nuno Espirito Santo with a dominant 3-1 win over Espanyol, who will be worrying about their prospects in the Primera Division this season. Pablo Piatti finished off a cut-back from Rodrigo Moreno to put the hosts in front with just eight minutes gone, and second-half goals from Dani Parejo and Paco Alcacer finished off a sorry Espanyol side, although Sergio Garcia did manage to score a late penalty for the Catalans.
