IBJ overlooked the Fever? Everyone overlooks the Fever. Far more entertaining and far more affordable than the Pacers, they are one of the the least known entities in the Indianapolis Sports World. Indiana FC, the professional women's soccer team that plays its home games in Indianapolis, is the most unknown. For most people (men and women), women are not supposed to play sports and if they do it is second class and not worthy of any consideration. For those sports enthusiasts locally, especially those who claim to be basketball fans, if you have not been to a Fever game but instead insult the team and the league, you are missing out of some incredible entertainment and are really not fans of basketball after all.
