    Vietnamese fuel traders on Saturday lowered the retail prices of gasoline for the tenth consecutive time since late July, following an order by two ministries. The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade ordered the cut following a drop in global fuel prices between November 7 and 21. The price of 92-RON gasoline, the most commonly used fuel in Vietnam, went down by VND1,141 at VND20,251 per liter, effective 11 a.m. Saturday.

    Lai Xuan Thanh, director of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam , faulted the supervisor, who works for Vietnam Air Traffic Management Company, for failing to stop an Air Force helicopter from taking off soon after a Vietnam Airlines plane on October 29. The supervisor's job was tasked with coordinating messages between civilian and military air traffic controllers. Civilian air controllers communicate with pilots in English and the latter in Vietnamese.

About a third of his 25-man platoon was killed or injured, so when Neil decided to return to Vietnam in 2009, he did so to pay tribute to those sacrifices, to walk the ground near Da Nang that in various ways had haunted him for more than 40 years.

The report quoted Major General Ho Si Tien, director of the Crime Branch Police under the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security as saying that a detailed plan to avoid those problems at this tournament was set forth, under which Tien's agency will assign an officer to follow the national team during the whole tournament to closely monitor any changes to avoid possible problems.
