    The Central Commission for Elections and Referenda of Tajikistan has announced that as of 12:00 , the voter turnout hit 48.5 percent of voters all over the country, the Tajik National Information Agency Khovar reported March 1. According to the Constitutional Law "On Elections to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan ", a single nationwide constituency and 41 district single-mandate constituencies and 3,209 polling stations were created in the country to organize and hold the election. Moreover, around 35 constituencies were created in 27 world's countries.

Lebedev, head of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the CIS Election Monitoring Mission, will meet Shermuhammad Shohiyon, head of Tajikistan's Central Commission for Elections and Referenda , the commission said on Friday. The CCER said it completed on Monday the process of registration of international election observers to Tajikistan's lower house of parliament.
