    The UN refugee agency on Friday called for the immediate release of Congolese refugees kidnapped by the Lord's Resistance Army , which has intensified attacks in the area bordering the Central African Republic and the Democratic Republic of the Congo this year. A spokesperson for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees said 15 Congolese refugees from a refugee camp in Central African Republic and one Congolese national were kidnapped by the LRA on 21 March from the Democratic Republic of the Congo side of the border, where they had been tending their fields.
