"On the results of inspection, General prosecutor office of Ukraine came to conclusion that there is the risk that an extradition request of Saakashvili was made by the competent authorities of Georgia with the aim of political persecution," said the message. "In addition, his extradition would be contrary to the requirements of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of 1950.
