    It has been announced that Bruce Sinofsky , the filmmaker who co-directed the 2004 documentary " Metallica: Some Kind of Monster ," has died at the age of 58. Sinfosky, who co-founded production company Creative Thinking International with Joe Berlinger , was battling diabetes. As Blabbermouth reports, Metallica have issued a statement about Sinfosky's passing, describing the filmmaker as " a valued member of our family ": " Bruce, along with Joe Berlinger, was the architect of our film 'Some Kind of Monster.'
