    Metallica finished off a great week of music on 'The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson' Friday night by digging out 'Sad But True' for the viewing audience. This time, Craig had his robot skeleton Geoff Peterson do the introduction, with Metallica adding a certain swagger to the performance, both in the song's introductory portion with choreographed arm waves during the synchronized riffs of James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett , and later as Hetfield ended the performance embracing the distortion against the speakers onstage.
