    I'm not afraid to demonstrate my ignorance, so here goes: I have a Mid-2011 iMac with a single internal drive, partitioned into two major volumes, 10.6 and 10.10, for dual-booting. Now that it's out of warrantee, I'm considering an OWC-offered upgrade which adds an internal SSD to the existing installed hard drive, in effect creating an Apple "Fusion Drive".
