    A change to the speed limit on Interstate 90 is set to take place April 1st, but how many areas in KOTA Territory will be affected by the change? The measure signed by Governor Dennis Daugaard, raises the speed limit on the interstate to a maximum of 80 miles per hour. According to the South Dakota Department of Transportation, the limit change will not apply in many areas within the city currently set at 65. That list of exclusions could expand, especially West River.
