Jerry was reported missing on December 29 after friends checked his home in Northeast Portland and found newspapers on the porch and his dogs loose in the backyard.

    The Oregon Humane Society is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the brazen theft of a puppy from the Portland shelter on the afternoon of Tuesday, Sept. 16. The two-month-old puppy was stolen between 3pm and 6 pm, just one day after being offered for adoption at the OHS shelter located at 1067 NE Columbia Blvd. The puppy, a female Australian shepherd/pit bull mix, was stolen from a locked kennel located off the shelter lobby.
