Behind a double-double performance from senior center Tori Jarosz and clutch free throws from junior guard Sydney Coffey the Red Foxes were able to fend off a furious comeback from the Great Danes.

    EDISON, N.J. Junior Josh Dodway was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Diver of the Week for the second time this season, the conference announced Dec. 10. Dodway won the 3- and 1-meter dives at the H2ounds Invitational from Dec. 5-6 to help Marist defeat a pair of MAAC opponents. He racked up 301.70 points at three meters Dec. 5 to claim first place and exceed the NCAA Qualifying Standard.

    EDISON, N.J. Freshmen Karly Haraden and Megan Berardelli were named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Swimmer and Diver of the Week respectively, the conference announced Dec. 10. It was the second time each of them had earned a weekly award this season. Haraden had won the award following the 2014-15 season opener against Canisius on Oct. 17, while Berardelli took home the MAAC honor after her performance in a meet against Fairfield on Nov. 8. Haraden's first-place time of 17:28.20 in the 1,650-yard freestyle helped the Red Foxes bury Iona, 247-117, and take down Saint Peter's, 250-110, at the H2ounds Invitational.
