    Marist College sophomore swimmer Ryan Murphy received two awards following his impressive performance in the Red Foxes' dual meet against Boston College on Jan. 17. Murphy, a two-time silver medalist at the 2013 Class M state championships as a New Fairfield High senior, was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Male Swimmer of the Week and the Corvias Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Division I Metro/Upstate Swimmer of the Week for his efforts in a 187-113 loss at Boston College. Murphy competed in three individual freestyle events, including two that were back to back.
