I caught up with Jaspers sophomore guard Chris Smith as he was heading out to Denver to watch his older btother, J.R., a guard with the Denver Nuggets, take on the Utah Jazz Thursday night in Denver and I asked him why he requested - and was granted - his release from Manhattan with two years of eligibility remaining in Riverdale.
