    Former University of Louisville guard/forward Alvin Sims will be among 47 Cardinal student-athletes that will be graduating in the UofL Fall Commencement ceremony at the KFC Yum! Center on Thursday, Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. Sims, from Paris, Ky., scored 1,057 points in his basketball career at UofL from 1993-97, helping the Cardinals to three NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearances including the 1997 NCAA East Region finals as a senior. He returned to UofL to earn his degree in communications through the Cardinal Degree Completion Program, completing his degree work in August.
