    Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing's Supercross rookie Blake Baggett turned in the strong ride in the greater New York City area on Saturday as 60,582 fans packed into the MetLife Stadium for the penultimate round of the AMA/ FIM World Supercross series. Baggett's result of fourth aboard his Yoshimura Suzuki RM-Z450 was his fourth top-five finish of the year and marked his best finish since his Daytona Supercross podium in early March; moving him up in the standings one more spot to fifth with just a single round remaining.

    Marvin Musquin wrapped up the Eastern Regional 250SX class championship with a solid win at East Rutherford, New Jersey's MetLife Stadium, tonight, in front of 60,582 motocross-crazed fans. The Red Bull KTM rider got bumped around a bit at the start of the 15-lapper, but came out of the fray in second be the end of lap one where he tailed early leader and defending class champion Justin Bogle on the GEICO Honda before making a pass for the lead on lap 11. The former MX2 champ from France had stretched his lead to over three seconds by the time the checkers came out and when they did he performed his signature heal-clicker to celebrate the victory.

    Eli Tomac once again posted the fastest time in practice during today's qualifying rounds for the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series in MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, which is round 16 of the 17-round series. The GEICO Honda rider was smooth and precise and nearly a full second faster then the second-fastest qualifier, Ryan Dungey, who turned a 54.404, compared to Tomac's 53. Team Honda HRC Cole Seely was third, with a 54, edging out longtime rival and Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Husqvarna Racer Jason Anderson by three-tenths of a second.

    Qatar's Nasser Saleh Al-Attiyah, Spain's Marc Coma and Poland's Rafal Sonik each confirmed their third victories at the Sealine Cross-Country Rally in four years in the car, motorcycle and quad categories on Friday. Victories on the final stage of the punishing five-day event fell to Reinaldo Varela, Joan Barreda Bort and Mohammed Abu Issa, but there was no stopping the 2015 Dakar Rally winners, Al-Attiyah, Coma and Sonik, and they each managed their pace to perfection over the closing 381.89km of competition to record victories by the respective margins of 27min 53sec, 4min 40sec and 8hr 06min 06sec.

    Qatar's Nasser Saleh Al-Attiyah, Spain's Marc Coma and Qatar's Mohammed Abu Issa edged into early advantages in their respective car, motorcycle and quad categories after the opening 201.94km selective section of the Sealine Cross-Country Rally between Al-Wabra and Sealine in Qatar on Monday afternoon. Hot and windy conditions made the going tough for all competitors, but the opening stage of just 201.94km was short by Sealine standards and enabled Coma to charge through from 13th on the road to claim the stage win in the motorcycle category by six seconds on his Red Bull KTM factory bike.
