Unfortunately this only left me wanting more.......where was the next move, they can't be done can they? NO ! there is still work to be done, but what can hahn and company hope to get accomplished when they are up against uncle jerry's payroll constraints? well, they now have to figure out what to do with Dayan V. with melky in the fold and presumably the everyday left fielder, there is really no where for him to play on this roster right now.

    The White Sox currently have 9 players on their 40-man roster who do not have 5 or more years of service time and who are out of minor league options: What this means is that, if the White Sox want to keep them, these players either need to be on the 25-man roster or must clear waivers to be sent to the minors. A player without options often has an edge in a close competition for a roster spot when competing with a player who still has options.
