    On Sunday, March 1 the Odenton Heritage Society will open a new display, "You're in the Army Now" at its open house from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Featuring photographs of Odenton residents who were inducted into the Army at Fort George G. Meade during World War II, the display also includes contemporary books about daily life at Army bases and the story of Frank Wellford, an Odenton resident who handed out uniforms to GIs at Fort Meade and then went through the same line on the other side of the counter as an inductee. Visitors also learn about the town of Odenton -- its railroads, homes, churches, schools, stores and recreational activities -- during the past 150 years.
