    Chris Kirk was the first product of an SEC school to win the McGladrey Classic at the Sea Island Resort. After the morning wave finished on Thursday at the Seaside Course, three former SEC golfers -- two them former Georgia Bulldogs, like Kirk -- shared the lead at 5-under-par 65. Left-hander Brian Harman, a resident of St. Simons Island, birdied four of his last seven holes; Erk Compton birdied his first two holes; and Michael Thompson drew on his experience in contending here in 2011 to all get to the top of the leaderboard.
