Paul Cerventes said the arrest took place after officers approached Tyriq Robinson, 23, who was in a car in a parking lot at Shaw and Barcus avenues about 11:15 p.m. Officers noticed the strong smell of marijuana and searched Robinson, the car and a female passenger.
