    A boy whose friends say he was the target of bullies for being a cheerleader at a Northern California middle school took his own life, according to officials Ronin Shimizu, 12, was found dead Wednesday afternoon, according to Sacramento County coroners. His death was initially characterized as "not suspicious" -- meaning a natural death, accidental death or suicide -- but was officially ruled a suicide by coroners Friday.
