    Town police, Newtown Hook & Ladder volunteer firefighters, and the Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to a two-car accident on southbound South Main Street at its intersection with Prospect Drive and Pecks Lane at about 1:34 pm on November 18. In the incident, motorist Christopher Puleo, 21, who was driving a 2003 Acura sedan, struck the rear end of a 2003 Saturn sedan driven by motorist Christopher Kelly, 38, police said. Puleo received an infraction for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart, police said.
