    Downtown San Diego was the site for the sixth round of the 2015 Monster Energy Supercross series and Petco Park was host to a Supercross race for the very first time and the racing could't have been any better. Yamalube/Star Racing/Yamaha's Cooper Webb had a major get off during one of the afternoon's practice sessions and had apparently injured his shoulder.

    The 2015 Monster Energy Supercross Series rolled back to Angels Stadium of Anaheim for the third and final Orange County visit of the year, and the night's action was much different than anything we'd seen yet this year. A very long course was created for the fifth round of the championship, and although it appeared basic on track maps, the size and spacing of the obstacles made it very challenging for riders to perfect.

    KTM's Andrew Short won the SupercrossLive Holeshot Award with Suzuki's Ken Roczen, who came into tonight's race as the points leader with two wins, and TwoTwo Motorsports' Chad Reed in second and third respectively. Reed passed Short for the lead on the opening lap, and Roczen passed Reed on Lap 1. However, after the pass, Roczen did not have the momentum needed to clear the triple jump and crashed upon landing, forcing him to drop back to nearly last place.
