    Suffolk County Police today arrested a Brentwood man for driving while intoxicated after he struck a pedestrian and fled the scene in Central Islip early this morning. Alejandro Diaz was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck eastbound on Suffolk Avenue, 40 feet east of Bergen Street, at 3:03 a.m. when his vehicle veered off the road and struck Mark Pamphile, who was walking eastbound on the sidewalk.
