    The Shasta County Coroner's Office confirmed on Wednesday afternoon, that the remains found were those of Charles "Buzz" Orr, 61, who was reported missing from his home in Jones Valley on April 29. According to the coroner's office, the cause of death was "listed as central nervous system damage and self-inflicted gunshot to the head." Investigators said when he left his home, he mentioned going to French Gulch to pan for gold, but did not take his car.
